“Although you may not always be able to avoid difficult situations, you can modify the extent to which you suffer by how you choose to respond to the situation.”

— The Dalai Lama

“One can choose to go back toward safety or forward toward growth. Growth must be chosen again and again; fear must be overcome again and again.”

— Abraham Maslow

A Safe Space to Heal, Explore, and Grow

Welcome

Are you feeling overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, or unresolved emotions? Life’s challenges, whether shaped by past experiences or present struggles, can leave you feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure of where to turn.

You do not need a diagnosis to seek therapy. Many people come to therapy to feel more whole, more grounded, and more alive. Whether you're navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, or simply yearning for a deeper understanding of yourself, therapy can offer a meaningful path forward.

It is natural to feel uncertain about starting therapy. You might wonder if it is the right time, or whether talking will really help. Many people also fear being vulnerable or uncovering painful memories. These feelings are completely normal.

Therapy is a safe, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace. Choosing to begin therapy is an act of courage and self-compassion, a first step toward a life that feels more authentic, balanced, and fulfilling.

My Approach

As a psychoanalytically oriented therapist and psychoanalyst, I offer a space for deep, thoughtful exploration. I work with individuals and couples from all walks of life and approach each person with care, curiosity, and respect.

While psychodynamic therapy is at the heart of my work, I also draw from attachment theory, mentalization-based therapy, and occasionally cognitive, behavioral tools, tailored to support your unique needs. My approach to psychoanalysis draws from the object relations, relational and intersubjective theories.

 Exploring Patterns and Making Change

Together, we will look at recurring emotional patterns that may be holding you back, subtle but powerful dynamics that shape how you feel, relate, and make meaning. Through our work, you can begin to shift these patterns, making room for more freedom, resilience, and connection.

Therapy is not only about symptom relief, it is about transformation. Over time, therapy can help you understand yourself more deeply, feel more grounded, and relate more authentically to others and to yourself.

About Me

I am committed to creating a therapeutic relationship grounded in empathy, trust, and emotional safety. My style is warm, thoughtful, and attuned to the nuances of your experience.

I chose this path because I believe in the healing power of being deeply understood. It is a privilege to accompany people as they uncover their inner worlds and reclaim hidden or wounded parts of themselves.

What to Expect

Psychoanalytic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis are collaborative, open-ended processes. Our sessions are guided by what feels most important to you. This kind of space, where you can speak freely without judgment, can be healing in itself.

Lasting change often comes from increased awareness. As we explore what lies beneath the surface, you may begin to relate to yourself and others in new, more meaningful ways; be at more peace with yourself and find joy.
